Selena Gomez’s $225,000 Engagement Ring From Benny Blanco Includes Sweet Nod To One of Her Hit Songs

After all, when the Only Murders in the Building actor revealed their proposal on social media on December 11, her fiancé Benny Blanco apparently referenced the popular song “Good for You” by the founder of Rare Beauty.
In fact, the music producer chose a gorgeous piece of jewellery with a marquise-shaped diamond stone set on a gold pavé band. According to Ann Grimmett, vice president of Merchandising at Jared Jewellers, the stone appears to weigh “about six carats,” which translates to a value of “around $225,000.”
Additionally, loyal Selena fans will immediately associate the cut with her 2015 single.
In the song, Selena and the rapper A$AP Rocky sing, “I’m on my he diamonds,” “I’m a marquise diamond / Could even make that Tiffany jealous / You say I give it to you hard / So bad, so bad / Make you never wanna leave / I won’t, I won’t.”
