With a Christmas tour, some time spent with family, and a standout rendition of her 1994 hit song “All I Want for Christmas Is You” during Netflix’s NFL Christmas Gameday stream, Carey has had a busy holiday season.
She recently told PEOPLE that she will continue her yearly custom of touring during the holidays, even though she contracted the flu during the holiday season.
“I’m probably going to do it forever. I simply need to rearrange my schedule a bit because I became ill this year from simply spending too much time outside,” she said.
