50 Cent Mocks Jay-Z for Attending ‘Mufasa’ Premiere With Family After Being Accused of Rape

Following the rapper’s alleged rape, Jay-Z and his family made their first public appearance. Fellow rapper 50 Cent quickly made fun of him for it.
On Monday, December 9, Jay-Z walked the Hollywood red carpet at the Mufasa premiere with his wife Beyoncé, daughter Blue Ivy Carter, and mother-in-law Tina Knowles.
50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, attacked the rapper for the choice by posting pictures of Jay-Z at the event on Instagram that same evening with Beyoncé, 43, and Blue Ivy, 12.

The 49-year-old Get Rich or Die Tryin‘ rapper captioned the since-deleted photo, saying, “Jay said they said I rapped [sic] a kid, everybody get dressed we going to see Mufasa LOL.”
Jay-Z, 55, decided to make his first public appearance since he and Sean “Diddy” Combs were accused on Sunday, December 8, of robbing a 13-year-old girl in the early 2000s.
In a post on his X account earlier on Monday, 50 Cent made reference to the Super Bowl, seemingly hinting at the controversy.
The rapper posted a well-known meme of himself driving away while given a seat in a car.
He wrote as the caption, “Okay, I don’t know what’s going on, but are we going to still have the Super Bowl. 😟.” “I just need a friend,” I said.

Since 2020, Jay-Z’sbusiness,Roc Nation, has been active in enabling the halftime entertainment for the Super Bowl.
The current plan is for Kendrick Lamar to be the main act at the event, which will take place in New Orleans in February 2025.
Later that day, 50 Cent joked, “I’m just asking for Kendrick,” in response to a question regarding the X post on the “Big Boy TV” podcast. I’m merely attempting to determine whether we’re still doing everything.
“They will fall back, the NFL … they won’t necessarily be associated with that,” he got to add, explaining that he did think the NFL might want to cut ties following the accusations.
According to NBC News, Jay-Z and Combs, 55, have been accused of raping a 13-year-old woman in 2000. The assault allegedly took place at an MTV Music Video Awards afterparty, according to the accuser, who has chosen to remain anonymised and was only known as “Jane Doe.”

On Sunday, Jay-Z—real name Shawn Carter—answered the lawsuit. His “only heartbreak is for my family,” the statement, which was given to Us Weekly, refuted the accusations. (Jay-Z and Beyoncé have been wed since 2008; they have three children together: Blue Ivy and the eight-year-old twins Sir and Rumi.)
According to Jay-Z’sstatement,”My wife and I will have to sit down with our children, one of whom is old enough that her friends will undoubtedly see the press and ask questions about the nature of these claims and explain the cruelty and greed of people.” “I lament the loss of innocence once again. Young children shouldn’t have to go through such things. It is unjust to have to attempt to fathom unbelievable levels of malice intended to destroy human spirit and families.
In moreover, the statement noted Jay-Z’s”strictcodes and honor,” asserting that he works to safeguard all children. Jay-Z wrote, “You seem to exploit people for personal gain,” in response to Texas-based litigator Tony Buzbee, who filed the lawsuit on Sunday after it was first filed in October and only mentioned Diddy’s possible role. The ridiculous accusations you have made against me would be absurd if not for the seriousness of the harm to children, but only your network of conspiracy theorists and fake physicists will believe them.
