'1000-Lb Sister' Star Amy Slaton Cops a Plea To Drug Possession ... After Safari Arrest In Tennessee
Amy Slaton, star of “1000-Lb Sisters,” reached a plea agreement that puts her on supervised probation, avoiding a jail sentence in her drug and child abuse case in Tennessee.
Amy pleaded guilty to a drug charge of “simple possession,” and according to court documents and media reports, she was given a sentence of nearly a year in jail with no jail time.

According to the court documents, her two additional charges of child abuse and child endangerment were dropped.

According to the agreement Amy made with the prosecutors, she will not communicate with the Tennessee Safari Park in Crockett County, complete an alcohol and drug program, and pay a $500 fine.
As you may remember, Amy’s problems started in September of this year at that safari.
Amy took her two children to the park to see the exotic animals, but she was arrested when police allegedly discovered marijuana and psychedelic mushrooms in her car.

To make things worse, Amy needed medical help after being bitten by a camel. A picture of Amy being lifted into an ambulance by paramedics while she was lying on a gurney was obtained by TMZ.

Officers discovered the marijuana and mushrooms in Amy’s car while the children were inside, and they charged her with child abuse and child endangerment in addition to the drug offenses.
